Sometimes we just need to get away for a while, and a fun day out in the fresh air is the perfect way to get rid of work-related stress. On 23rd July a group of us headed for the gorgeous Genting Highlands to de-stress, get to know each other better and enjoy some fresh air.

We met at the Forest Hill, Damansara Perdana at 8am, before ascending to the high altitudes of Genting Highlands resort that sits in the magnificent Titiwangsa Mountains to the north east of Kuala Lumpur. The resort has been a popular spot with tourists since the 1960s, a place full of great hotels, an exciting shopping mall, lots of good restaurants and the famous Casino de Genting. The Chin Swee Caves Temple is a wonderful place, sitting amongst cool forest land with amazing mountain views. And the dramatic Genting Skyway cable car connects the resort with the town of Gohtong Jaya, on its dramatic plateau. It's a magical place that we won't forget in a hurry.

We were fortunate to visit Skyway Avenue Burger & Lobster Restaurant, the Casino, and the amazing Genting Premium Outlet.

Toast might not seem like a big deal, but this ONE with Café au lait served in bowls at 6,000 feet above sea level certainly becomes a huge deal for us

The dining scene in Genting Highlands is very vibrant and there are so many good restaurants that it is almost impossible to keep up!

We enjoyed French Café au lait which is kind of weird as we need to drink it from a bowl instead of a cup. And we enjoyed a sumptuous lobster’s lunch at the renowned Burger and Lobsters restaurant".

Annabel was surprised that Alan joined in and enabled AA team to get to see the funny side of him! She was glad that the management appreciated the team’s hard work and effort and said, “Thanks to Stanley and Alan again. It surely will motivate the employees”.

The end of our trip was marked by a delicious seafood dinner at GohTong Jaya. And we all enjoyed a day to remember.
